armed response units are the police .theres plenty of other coppers with guns as well.if youre talking about arming every bobby on the beat,not a good idea

 

 

as i said in my initial post i knew it wouldn't be without problems, there aren't plenty of other coppers with guns, yes i was proposing arming the entire police force, thats the only way to come in line with european law and stop paying our taxes annually to the eu in fines,

 

i am aware of the problems that it would cause and the people on here who are "anti" police wont like it, however when people are dieing in the street and all the police and ambulance service can do is make an RVP a mile away and wait 20minutes for armed support before coming arresting the suspects and admisinstering first aid to teh wounded i know which i would rather have. 20minutes the wounded are the dead and the suspects are the escaped suspects

 

Illegal guns on our streets are a fact, ALL wannabbee gangsters have shooters, the government allows immigrants from worn torn areas in who have scant regard for life and bring with them illegal firearms, there is a steady trade in guns from the eastern block countries to ours!

 

i wish everyone would wake up to these facts.

unless this country changes its opinion of guns and realises that the decent law abiding public having guns is a good thing this will continue,

 

i reckon the knee jerk leftie policy will be to scrutinise legally held firearms more, and ignore the facts of the real problems, plenty of illegal guns and no deterent in either armed cops or decent sentences
