Retiring Veterans

I wouldn't have my dog pts just because it was getting on a bit. The dog would have to be at a stage were I knew it had no quality of life. Its such a shame to have reared the dog for so long. I wouldn't like to think my children would put my wife and I to sleep just because we got on a bit. :cray: It would be cruel if a dog was left to suffer and nothing being done to help it. :hmm:

well thats a better outcome for the dog my old dog will be with me till the day he dies i couldn't pts a dog that been with you from ayoung age grafted its arse off for ya then just be pts when you do

The way I see it is if the dog gives me his best, he'll have a good 9 to 10 yrs with me, hunting, mooching and out all summer going all over the place beaches, swimming, coastel paths walking the fiel

I think theres a diffrentds between pts, a dog around the 9/10 whats still got a bit of crack left in it,,, but his the real reason for pts a dog his folk carnt be botherd with them, when get a little old,,,,, god help there mrs when they get old,,,lol they will be strait in a home,,
