good afternoon we had today, it was very sunny and windy, got a couple of rabbits with my young bull x bitch. She dissappeared into some reeds and a short while later I heard squeaking, she retrieved a nice clean rabbit to hand, then off she went again, back into the same patch of reeds and did the exact same again

shes a collie/grey/bull mix, shes not very big though only about 20" tall, but fast enough for rabbits, I want to get her started properly on foxes (retrieving shot ones of course ) but there are fecking none about here the gamekeepers have shot and snared them all :realmad: . was out the other night for a look around and saw f**k all, anyone get me a day with terriers or a nights lamping where theres some charlies on the go? (to shoot and then retrieve of course ) I have been pestering everyone I know to take me out but no luck so far

Serious question Charlie, how do you find the stamina with that dog?

stamina is great, she will hunt up all day long, she never seems to get tired and doesnt fall in even after raking for a couple of hours solid. if she lacks anything it would be speed though, shes not the fastest of dogs.
