Saluki246 1,053 Posted July 15, 2013 Report Share Posted July 15, 2013 what gets me is that lads rarely wait until the first litter of pups have proven themselves, the next litter is usually determined well before the first litter is up and running lol for me maybe it would be better to see if the first litter does well? two litters are more than suffice for any botch, even woprse is when they sell on saiod bitch after the pusp have gone, for another to do the same again shameful eh? every one is not a good dog breeder just as everyone is not a good stockman , bit more to it than lining a bitch and putting an add on the web . Agree lads Its rife over here over breeding from unprooven parents and i know of a bitch about 10 years ago, that was bred from so much, she got a bad stroke and died at the age of 8. She was just worked very hard the first 2 years of her life, she was a cracking bitch and would of got better, but all the lad could think of was money and he bred from her till she dropped!! A shame i think!! Their is a lot more sad cases like this, not what i call good stockmenship. !! Quote Link to post
