foxtails 272 Posted June 28, 2013 Report Share Posted June 28, 2013 ,i havent been to this reservior for 20 years, and am crap at fishing, but fancied a day out, a 45 min drive there and started fishing at about 1.30pm paid the £10 fee, ect (rip off) lol 1st cast within 20 seconds hooked a fish, got it right in the the bank then lost it, i was using samon eggs, kept fishing for a good hour or 2 on that bait, then tried the old maggot, still no luck, so moved over to the other side of the resevoir, still no luck, by now id been there about 5 hours, so thought id have a go on the spinner, still no luck 7 hours of fishing and only 1 bite its always the same im jinxt at fishing, always have been, im trying usk resevoir this week, maybe ill have better luck there will let you know how i get on, any tips will be very much appriciated atb foxtails Quote Link to post
