MTC's Tiapan rifle scope deserves it's status as the Flagship of the current range. The lenses are the same specification as the Viper's but only the very best are specially selected for the Taipan. Other enhancements over the Viper are..

 

The reticle Illumination system- which is now electronic and has five intensitty settings in two colours (red and green) as well as a memory function.

 

The design of the lockable back to zero turrets

 

Improvements in the surface anodising resulting in a finish that is deeper and darker.

 

A coiled erector spring replaces the Vipers flat one for ultra responsive adjustment and stability.

 

The Taipan is fitted with a unique telescopic sunshade.

 

Double strap-Double screw mounts now included.

 

This model features a variable magnification range of (4-16) and side adjustable parallax. It's an outstanding scope for hunters and also Field Target and Hunter Field Target (HFT) competitors alike. The 50mm objective lens (ETE microlux coated) coupled with the 30mm scope body gathers and delivers a fantastic amount of light to your eye-providing an image on par with scopes carrying a much bigger price tag.

 

The Tiapan is waterproof, shockproof, fog proof, nitrogen purged and suitable for all calibres up to .50BMG.
