So do I  I think the cover may be a bit thick when I get there tomorrow but I need to know the lay of the land and work out what best method to use :hmm: I'll be going from there to the other two permissions Ive just got to do a reccy and have a general mooch about with the dogs. If they're all they are cracked up to be then my ferts will have a busy season ahead :drink::drink:

I went today and started off at the Cricket Club, the man who I got the permission off informed us that there was the cricket club field and the surrounding fields!! :D We had a general mooch about there but didnt see much evidence of rabbits :hmm: He mentioned that there has been Myxi there lately and he's been getting rid of dead rabbits  but said he'd still seen a few lively rabbits about the place. Lamping may be the best bet I think :hmm:

We went from there to the Golf course (Another new permission :drink::drink: ) we spoke to the greenkeeper who thanked us for asking for permission instead of poaching :icon_eek::laugh: There are shit loads of rabbits there and the place is huge!!:D Definately ferreting land and lamping - he asked us to try and be careful with the dogs if we can when we're lamping so not to spoil the green but then said but if it happens, it happens :D The scenery is beautiful and its right next to the coast so we should have some serious sport there!!

We went to a womans house for our last visit and she has the most amazing garden!! Loads of rabbits too, there's a field right next to her house and the rabbits seem to be coming in from there, definately ferreting and shooting ground :drink:

Everyone we spoke to was lovely and really helpful and word seems to be spreading fast about us! So altogether, a great mooch out and some new permission to boot!!
