Rabbiting man 1,192
I ordered some more brass wire from FourteenAcre. part from the brass wire & brass eyelet. they included a new of new, but still experimental rabbit snare stops. They just slide onto the snare & can be clamped where you need them. But these are not on sale so as anyone had any of these new stops & how you getting on with them, I've not made mine yet. john b 38
These are based on an idea developed by Glenn 'snareman' Waters using small bore copper pipe. Glenn, Woodga and several others have been using those for some time with great results. In common with most of Glenn's other work, this idea has been given freely for the benefit of snarers everywhere.Personally after cutting about 50 buy hand I'd had enough, so we've been looking at producing them industrially for those of us without the skill, time or patience to make our own. You're one of only a handful of people who have had any so far. The samples that have gone out are to get a bit of broad spectrum feedback before we offer them for sale. We already know for instance that some instructions on how they are crimped will be important. 2 Quote Link to post
