deadlyshot 25
Well I have stopped due to injury of my dog which has put her out for at least a month. I was only going by the couple of blokes I go with. So I thought I'd ask here to see when others finish but by the sounds of it it don't mater when the season is out coz people still go and do it Anyway but for future references middle to end of February is the time to stop and let nature be thanks for info all taken onboard atb Quote Link to post
UcanRUNbutUcantHIDE 190
I'm on a pest control call in the morning but I'm only taking my old dog to mark its the pups opportunity to shine tomoro I agree with most the lads here mid February start of march but it seems the vixens are cubbing earlier each year.few people I know have dug cubs already, I dug 1 last week heavily pregnant with a friends pup and released it on another farm i have that was over run with rabbits to give her a good chance and to kill 2 birds with 1 stone, the way I see it is if you have to dig them this time of year then do but try to use them to your advantage if you have a few farms and 1 farmers moaning bout the rabbits try release some foxes to do the job for you saves killing them and its a good excuse to give the keeper/farmer. But obviously sometimes as a pest controller they will have to be humanely dispatched wich is always sad dis time of year as it could affect next years digging. Atb ucrbuch 1 Quote Link to post
