kenj 131
I've been using my old .177 Relum springer to shoot pigeons in barns over open sights at close ranges up to 20 yards, but due to low light, I some times can't see the sights (old age). A red dot seems the answer. I've seen mixed reviews. Advice please. Quote Link to post
Tron 173
I have found for pigeons rats and squirrels around farm buildings the red dot sights are just the job for quick target pick up I found out years ago that trying to adjust a scope down to the range of the quarry meant often losing the chance of a shot obviously the quality varies from make to make but Hawke make good ones keep away from the ones being offered for uder £15.00 as they are a waste of time. kenj 131
Just received a Gun Tuff Holographic 11 mm red/green dot sight from Ramsbottom. Solid anodised ali contruction and four choices of reticule. It was easy to fit and zero, giving a dozen hits well within the 20 mm target bull. Can't wait to get out and try it in the barn.
