ferret_uk 4
Just after a bit of advice, just got my first pcp after having many years with spring guns. What am after knowing is I use a stirrup pump to fill my gun and a few lads have said just re-fill after every outing the problem I have is the stirrup pump (rws) does not tell me how much air is left in the gun so could this lead to over filling ? barrywhite 282
there is a gauge on the pump I guess .pump gun a few times and read pumps gauge that will tell you how much air is in the gun .pump gun to 150 ish bar shoot 25 ish shots taking the gun down to 120 ish bar .this will be the top of power curve ish .you can pump gun to 190 bar and shoot down to 90 bar giving a lot more shots but a big power curve .shooting at close range that will be fine with a big power curve .you will have to experiment to fined the best fill pressure and how many shots.
