Elliott 436 Posted February 23, 2013 Report Share Posted February 23, 2013 (edited) Well I've been shooting the Annie and can't get over how flat shooting it is. Tried out both the Hornday 17 grain and CCI 20 grain and found the CCI's to be the best. Whilst testing the 17 grain bullets I put a couple of 20 grain CCI's through and found that when I reverted to the 17 grain Hornday's they were all over the place. A quick pull through and we were back on song. Looks like the Annie needs to stick to one brand of ammo and doesn't like swapping and changing. I found this with the air rifles so it doesn't really suprise me. I'll stick with the CCI's and get some targets set out at various ranges to find my hold over points. From what I've gathered already I won't be using as many mil dots holdover as I previously thought! Edited February 23, 2013 by Elliott Quote Link to post
