THE GRIFF 8
I am looking for a lithium battery to power a pigeon magnet, I have looked at the deben and wildhunter ones but wondered if anyone has tried one of these cheaper Chinese ones. They come in many different sizes from 2ah to 20ah and all seem to be in a blue plastic. They are less than half the price of the branded ones. I wondered if anyone had tried them for lamping and could tell me if the stated ah is true or wether it is exaggerated like many Chinese imports. Please look in the link below to get an idea of what I am talking about. This 18000mah battery is a 18ah for about £70 http://www.dhgate.com/12v-5a-portable-18000mah-li-ion-rechargeable/p-ff8080813bc82f9b013bd1c594355386.html Quote Link to post
weekend.rifle 44
i used some of the blue wrapped batteries from china for my nite site, they worked ok but i took one apart once after snapping a wire and i saw that they are not well constructed under that heat shrink, all wires just masking taped together, no crimps, no waterproof tape even, just shoddy. by all means buy them but strip off that plastic and sort the wires out if not its the old "buy cheap buy twice" atb tony Quote Link to post

I recently bought some Panasonic batteries for lamping, from china ( as they are all from there ) identical to the genuine article...... but NOT !!! ask Quote Link to post
