Yokel Matt 918
Two moments that stand out: Stalking boar through thick gorse tracts in a valley in New Zealand with a .243! The game trails through the gorse were really narrow; you could hear the sounder rooting and snuffling but the were periods where everything would go deadly silent and i'd have my foot off the ground too scared to put it down unless it made a sound. ... Didn't get any that time but it was the most amazing experience! My Godfather took me grouse shooting to the Bows Estate in Scotland for my 25th Birthday... All the guns were really nice appart from this one chap who was a complete cock and kept muttering to the head keeper to keep me away from him as i hadn't shot grouse before. I was placed next to him on the last drive, wiped his eye 4 times and shot 6 1/2 brace! That shut him up.
Guest Macnas
Lots of good memories, hard to put one above another. Shooting teal off an old flax pond 2 years ago, in a gale force wind. Now that was sport.
