Well! This cold weather is a sigh of relief for me.

If you are talking about the lack of nests about last year and the resulting lack of queens to repopulate this year, i wouldnt worry too much.

It wont be another 2011 thats for sure, but there will have been enough nests survive last autumn to maturation to produce a nice bunch of queenies for this year.

Just need to keep them in hibernation till the right time ;)

Its the bloody warm weather at this time of year that fucks things right up.
