glenng 15
i have 3 sprockers and a clumber/cocker.i work the older sprocker as the other two are her 6 month old pups.as a dog to shoot over she is fantastic but has learned where the birds hold on each drive when im beating and has to be watched as she goes deaf to the whistle.she works grouse and pheasant really well but is not too keen on retrieving pigeons.i lined her with a working cocker last year and the puops are coming along quite well so far. Bradford Lad 74
I have a 20month old Sprocker, just had a great 1st season with him, lives to retrieve anything and smashes the heaviest of cover. Just lost a little bit of steadiness towards the end but thats to be expected, a few sessions in the rabbit pen and a bit if doggin before next season wil sort tha no probs. I would highly recomend them, as long as your not bothered anout trialling. Will put a pic up tonite. Quote Link to post
