A question of healing.

I was just wondering how many of you had used the services of a Reiki healer on your dogs?

I've heard good things from respected lurcherman and have found Reiki to be extremely effective in speeding up the recovery of sick and wounded animals.

So whats the general concensus on complementary therapies when it comes to your running dogs and terriers?

I realise I could be sticking my neck out on this one so sensible replys only please.

Reiki i have found to be very effective, as long as you trust the person who is doing it and they have done their Masters. The lady i use has treated the dogs, horses and myself for all sorts of injuries and even stress. Cos i know her quite well now she will often call me and ask if one of the dogs is alright as she has had a feeling something is up and true enough without having told her there has been a problem.....

Some people do just laugh or think it is all bollocks, and each to their own.

Will be interesting to hear what other people have to say on it.

Me too jembo. Don't be so quick to knock those that haven't completed thier master though. Those who have taken thier second Reiki attunement have all they need to give healing to your animals.

As you say, trust is important as there are alot of money orientated people around that although they have the ability they are not really doing it for right reasons.

I take it by the lack of response to this thread that a vast majority of people either don't know about or don't hold alot of stall in Reiki healing or any other alternative therapie.

Shame I was going to offer my services.
