porkycrook 466 Posted January 5, 2013 Report Share Posted January 5, 2013 When you say "Tacky" do you mean that it is still tacky to the touch or it doesn't look very nice. Well if its the first "Tacky" then i would assume that the oil has not been absorbed, then i would just with a lint-free cloth wipe off the excess. Or if you mean the second "tacky" then i would again with a lint-free carry on applying oil with the cloth until everything is even and fully absorbed. Hope this is a help. Quote Link to post

Buster321c 1,010 Posted January 5, 2013 Report Share Posted January 5, 2013 Forget applying more until you have this coat sorted . When you apply oil your supposed to work it in with the plam of your hand , which in turn will warm up the oil ,and help it absorb . Work it in more , spend some time and really rub it in .
