barraboy 28
had the cocker out on the fells for the first time yesterday, no flushes unless you count the snipe coming off the bog but still pleased with his progress responded well to the whistle and didnt stray too far. two blind retrieves, a nice rabbit to start with and then a snipe later on which i was well chuffed with, both nicely to hand! next season is going to be great using the cocker in the morning meant the ESS didnt tire and was able to maintain her speed and drive throughout after lunch, the little bitch only works flat out a pocket rocket but this tends to tire her on a full day so the progress of the cocker is taking somwe of the load off her, well chuffed.
