wmd 1
The weather has been stinking hot 40+ so [bANNED TEXT] the weather man forecast a stormy night ,there is only one thing to do. I called a land owner .and loaded the staghounds . Arriving just after dark I set up my HID spotlight ,battery in my pack and a bottle of water . The wind was strong and staying in one direction ,heavy cloud made the night very dark. I headed off walking between the warrens and the open field . Letting the stags draw the lightly vegetated ground . as rabbits broke there seat i followed them with the spotlight. This is not my normal technique , I often use one dog at a time off a slip . This worked good with the two teaming up to catch almost every run. After about 40 minutes the wind stopped and there were no more rabbits to be seen ,apart from one sitter that was just to cunning .
