bullmastiff 615 Posted November 26, 2012 Report Share Posted November 26, 2012 Only had limited experience before they banned it but I'd seen smaller foxes caught by the back/ribcage just 'crunched'. No shaking or throat holds, just dig the muzzle in and chew. With larger foxes both shaken or throated then shaken. I guess the only differance seems to be where the initial bite was when they had hit the quarry. If it got knocked over onto it's back with the dog still on it then most of the times the dog would end up on the throat, if the dog hits it in the back as it bites down then it would usually crunch down on the spine/ribcage then shake. 1 Quote Link to post
