:clapper:KUDOS!!! :good: Well done, my man! Seventy?! Jesus H. Christ! I think I only ever topped that a couple of times when I'd been feeding the entire Buckland Flock for a couple of years solid! That is a LOT of House Sparrows, man! Excellent work! :D

And 'Special Budgie'? I'm guessing that'll be quite heavy on the Millet, yeah? Only I found they went banannas for millet. (Tip to anyone who cares; Ask ye friendly local pet shop what they do with the 'waste' from any bunches of millet 'sprays' they get. My one used to pour it out of the box and bag it up for me, for free. That stuff's a quietly known sparrow magnet!) Another benefit of millet is that it's simply too small for rats to bother with ;)

Byron, since ye obviously care for the smaller wild birds, I take it ye are a member of the BTO's Garden Bird Watch scheme? If not, I'd implore ye to join. It's fantastic fun and immensely satisfying to know that ye doing even More good by just doing what you obviously do now anyway. Like, f*ck the rspb and their positivism. BTO figures are the ones which governments listen to. It was thousands of people like you and I mate, all contributing our observations and counts to BTO/GBW that alerted the wider community to the true level of decline in House Sparrows on the first place.

One thing I dearly miss ~ come to that, the Only thing I miss! ~ about living in england is my ability to contribute to GBW.

Check it out, people. Go to BTO and have a look
