Guest DALE_2
i was just thinking to myself , and was wondering when crossing a lurcher i.e the bull x greyhound or collie greyhound ., why this is done to a greyhound and not a lurcher , wat are the advantages / disadvantages of this , main reason is i have a salukixgreyhound x bull greyhound bitch , and was total out of curisoty wondering what would be if i put a pure collie or summit else i.e bull that makes up alot of lurchers to her , im NOT thinking of breeding her at the moment , its just sumthing that was in back of my mind . would the 1st cross bull greyhound be better than me putting a bull to my saluki grey/ bull grey bitch , or be better putting another lurcher and have a lurcher x lurcher breeding? ... cheers Quote Link to post
Guest Ditch_Shitter
Dale; What ever you decide and what ever other advice ye get here mate, here's some; Don't, what ever ye do, go grabbing that Dogs dick in ye hand as he starts to thrust and, effectively, wank him into the bitch, then come on here telling us ye did that. These boys will rip ye to bits ~ probably quite deservedly! Quote Link to post

Guest oldskool
i was thinking the same as Tyson... what are you hoping to see in your future pups... a saluki/grey x collie/grey should be a nice quick dog.. if you cross it to a full bull or collie then you will lose the speed... you would be lucky if the pups will go on to course anything faster than a rabbit... my old trooper bitch was an accidental mating between my whippet/grey to a full bull... other than being a hard and game bugger she was never what i really needed so i put her back to grey... now its just fingers crossed that was about 8 months go and she is a racyer bitch than that when in condition!! but i would imagine you will end up with a similar type of dog Quote Link to post
