Use an AVO to check them, the finder one should be close to 10V and the two in the collar 1.6V. If your batteries are good then the finder needs calibrating by adjusting one of the pot resistors. It is quite normal for these to only go to 14ft and not the full 15 but 10ft is poor. Quote Link to post
