Robbie uk 24
I have just purchased a secondhand Air Arms TX 200 .177. It is a fabulous rifle with scope and bag. Very good condition too. I dont know much about these springers but i am well impressed. Whats the best moderator for these, are they easy to get hold of and can i get a screw on adaptor for this ? Any particular preference on pellets? Cheers Rob. Quote Link to post
pianoman 3,593
You cannot fit a moderator onto a TX200 rifle Robbie. The TX200HC carbine is threaded for a screw-fit adaptor or moderator but, frankly, neither rifle needs one and the HC can be over-balanced forward with one. There is no real benefit and anyway, the rifle has a shrouded bull barrel which is baffled and sound absorbing. The .177 calibre TX200 series rifles are fantastic and you'll love what it will do downrange. All the best. Pianoman Quote Link to post
fry 209
i have a prosport and was a bit worried about the noise compared to an aa410 with a twink mk2 silencer,. but in reality as pointed out by wurz in another post its not as noisy as a pellet hitting a rabbits skull which you can do nothing to silence, cheers fry.
