Audioslave82 2
Hey all, I was just wondering if it was possible for a Rep of Ireland Gun dealer to import an air rifle from a private seller in the UK? I know its possible for them to bring in new rifles , and any ive asked about importing have always qouted me new gun price even tho i stated 2nd hand or new. Quote Link to post
Phantom 631
I dont see why there would be a problem for a dealer. Rep of Ireland is part of the EU so its 'its free trade rules' with other EU members apply Tony Quote Link to post
Audioslave82 2
thanks for the reply phantom, hopefully thats the case. Ive chosen the Air Arms s410 but the standard model (no scope, mounts, straps etc ) is costing me €845 euro. I was hoping to get the whole set up for under €1000. So it looks like i'll have to go 2nd hand. Quote Link to post
Phantom 631
Ouch!! What are the rules in RoI regarding purchasing direct from an other person? Is it possible to skip the middleman dealer? If so then it would I think make it considderably cheaper to do so. And you wouldn't have to pay import duty if it comes from another EU country (as far as I am aware). Tony Quote Link to post
