Tron 173
I have spent some time today checking zero on my BSA Ultra , Its only used in earnest around the farm buildings on one of my shoots. however I obtained some RWS Super-H-Point , and BSA Intercepter both in .177 calibre. As expected the RWS was dead on vertical but being only 6.9G shot higher than the 10.5G Bisley Magnums which is the guns usual ammo. However the BSA Intercepter was really bad for accuracy and on inspecting the pellets without a magnifying glass it was clear that 7 out of 10 had lead flashing around one side of the skirt rim. which made the shotgun type pattern shown. As I was shooting from a table resting on a bean bag at 21 yards it was a shock to see such results. the pellets were purchased by mail order so its a waste of time spending money returning them. hotshot2me 31
Hi Tron bad news that what a waste of money, i have used the RWS Super-H-Point and still do to good effect but in .22, i honestly think for the price you can't go far wrong with the RWS range in .177 or .22. i Have a BSA SCORPION SE in .177 and haven't tried the RWS in it yet but will do but i find Exact Diablo and AA Field are superb: Dave Quote Link to post
