foxtails 272
what do you mean (one snare)? ebay has always got some,,,iv got snares tealers and pegs if you want to buy some if not, just pay the postage and ill send you 2 up for free, to be honest at first you need to set loads of snares to get a catch,,then expierince comes with time,im on my 3rd season snaring,,iv just made nearly snares, tealers, and my own pegs,, fourteen acre does snare wire and eyelets, its worth a look,,,they even sell snares and tealers,,made up already aswel i think, anyway atb with your snaring mate,,its really effective when you get good at it,,,,,ft Quote Link to post

heritage 202
As a beginner your best keep your money in your pocket.., at least until you've read all the articles on here, not only will they help you with the practical side of snaring but they will also help you to get clued up on the legal side of things ...., you don't need loads of snares to catch, this just shows that placement is wrong.. If I were you I'd purchase a small amount from one of the competent snare makers until you gain confidence & aquire the skills to produce things for yourself. Woodga did a DVD recently and this will be a worthwhile purchase , it is available from many outlets including Fourteenacre as mentioned above, atb Quote Link to post

TWOTWOTHREE 152
That Dvd is very good indeed, with the dvd and a lot of advice from a mate on here ( a up brian) this will be my second season at snaring rabbit properly and if its as good as last year that's down to the above,I was only playing at it before then and catching minimal amounts but with the right advise I've been bagging up, Don't by shy advise on here from the seasoned hunters is priceless to people wanting to start up, Good luck with the wires Atb 223 Quote Link to post
