In the US barb wire fences are standard for any field, and i'm curious as to how you train a dog to see and avoid them so as to not plow into one and get torn up, or worse run into a steel T-post and put themselves to an end. mighty celt 996 Posted September 24, 2012 Report Share Posted September 24, 2012 alot of the farmers over here use electric fences and once the pup gets 1 or 2 shocks they soon figure out to stay away from all wire,and as all ready been said train the dog to jump should have no problem clearing them/ Quote Link to post
