Guest cookiemonsterandmerlin
Well after the hissing rain all night all morning the weather here pushed off with a strong wind and bright sun perfect for a afternoon over the stubbles ,well to say the fields were wet was being kind. It felt like I should of been shooting ducks but the rain had washed alot of chaff and exposed the gold seed and on arrival the field was covered but was late 3pm for start but I knew the birds would return quickly. So I just flopped out the old deeks in spot I had shot many thousand from over the years so no need for recce. The birds where steady at first nowt exciting but fun then the number returning to field started to increase allowing for some hot sport right upto 6pm when like a tap it just switch off. First with 52 that was jammed with a mix of ever seed possable Happy days Cookie 1 Quote Link to post
