barrywhite 282 Posted September 23, 2012 Report Share Posted September 23, 2012 I am planing to put 20 cm x 20 cm piece of ir plastic filter over a 100w halogen 12v battery torch .I see that the ir plastic sheet comes in 3mm or 5mm thickness .what is the difference between 3mm and 5 mm ? varminter.223 0 Posted October 20, 2012 Report Share Posted October 20, 2012 I've been using a 5mm lucite 962 IR plastic sheet over my 100W halogen lamp for the last year or two.No probs so far.
