walshie 2,804
Well that's taken long enough. Finally got it this morning. My Mrs heard the cage clang shut while she was in the kitchen this morning about 6.15. I had completely covered the floor of the cage with thick grass cuttings, put paving slabs round the end it so the fox couldn't get to the bait without going in, and after 2 weeks I got it. It was a big vixen in perfect condition, but looked "young". It weighed 20lb! (Yes I know, but the cage was right next to the shed with my fishing tackle, so I weighed it) Way too big to be this years cub, so could it have been last years or do they take longer to get that big? Fingers crossed no more fox stink every morning.

walshie 2,804
Just had a mate round who is pro fox exterminator. Reckons this one was about 3 as her teeth weren't all that. Hope there's not more cubs to come.
