Cold Bluing Over and Under barrels

Hi, I have just started to renovate an Over and Under 12g....................... I have blued the action block, trigger guard etc of a Greener GP with very good results using Birchwood Casey Super Blue.

However, I have not blued anything a big as a barrel let alone o/u barrels with a rib, the bluing on the barrels is actually quite good except at the muzzle end where it's been leaned against a wall etc many times, so it needs rebluing at the muzzle end at least.

 

I may have a go at bluing just the muzzle end first but I think it will be difficult to get a match, so has anyone tackled re-bluing O/U barrels, I know I will have to remove all of the bluing on the barrels but how do I tackle the rib.

 

Any help would be appreciated.
