Training a lurcher

Looking for some advice on training a working lurcher to retreave/recall etc whats the best way on what age should i start thanks for any help given

start straight away in the house i say, for the recall i was just shouting to my pup when she went out of sight or was on the other side of the room then when she came over/back to me make a fuss about it and sumtimes a treat, then when the pups getting it bang on in the house start with outside in the backgarden or on a small field sumwhere where they cant get away lol when theyve cracked it by you shouting there name you can start to introduce a whistle and stuff like that, and as for the retreiving same again in the house or garden just throw a rolled up sock and shout the dog back when theyve got it if it fetch's make a fuss again but if the dog starts to look bored of the training stop and do suming else or it will loose interest, make training fun for them..
