This little cracker overstreched my elastic in my pole today, it has gone from a dark blue colour to a very light blue, so it obviously needs replacing but i never relised picking a new elastic would be so hard, theres so many different types. All i want is one that can handle decent size carp, tench, barbel but also land the less agressive fighting fish e.g bream roach etc.

Iv'e always used the Old Preston Slip laccy, even down to the Purple no1. Never been into Commercials or Carping much so never used Hydro even the lighter grades. I don't like to admit it, but i can remember when no8 was the strongest elastic you could buy. :icon_redface: :icon_redface:
