I have at present 7 hob kits & 5 kit jills ( 4 weeks old ) various colours from good hardy working parents soon to be ready for collection. Free to a good home. Basingstoke, Hampshire.

They are 3-4 weeks at present, not really sure whats the best age to seperate. Advice welcome.

i dont usually re home mine till there at least 8 wks old dont know about anyone else

8 weeks minimum for me.

I wouldnt re home as the others have said a min of 8 week, they not only feed from there moms but also learn & she will discipline them.

 

Babys taken from there moms to soon tend to need extra care once re homed,so bare that in mind when re homing especially a novice ferret keeper, you may find yourself with hungry kits being brought back to you once you have re homed them.

 

They should be totally independent & full of bounce before homing them
