Loss of weight

Hi

 

My jill is to give birth around the 15th of this month, over the last 2-3 days i have noticed her face going skinny and her body is more defined, compared to before when she was chunky and fat in the face.

 

Is this natural practice of pregnancy ?

 

She is moulting alot, so im guessing that could play a part in it.

I noticed this on mine too, I think its just the moulting

my jills get this too i reckon its a combination of the moult/ fur loss for their nest and warmer weather plus the young uns will be taking a lot of nutrients from the jill more so when shes far on in gestation is it your first litter?

You would also loose weight feeding that lot 24/7 just make sure she has more food than she can eat , that way you know she is getting enough

Thanks for the reply everyone, i kinda guessed it was due to pregnancy, just wanted to make sure.
