olly 0
Probably was 35 odd degrees my dogs struggle when it gets over 25 I reckon most dogs worked in the UK would have given up with the heat Quote Link to post
valentino 0
i dont agree with the running of the four dogs together,...i also belive that its a hinderence to the running dogs anyway....but like has been said, the heat will play a major factor and running on sand isnt easy...... valentino Quote Link to post
olly 0
A saluki should be fine running on sand they have longer toes to help them I do agree on running four dogs being a bit of a strange idea dont take much to break a leg Quote Link to post
gaz 284
I can see where some people are coming from about running four dogs ect,but you have to hand it to the arabs when it comes to salukis, their masters of their breed of running dog producing some smashing dogs on the back of thousand of years of selective breeding and proberly using the same schooling of their dogs passed down through generations, how many out there would turn their noses up at having the chance to own a arab bred saluki Quote Link to post
Guest Frank
Fair comment gaz. After all, they have been moulding the Saluki, for thousands of years. Its the way they do it and id say they were training pups too. Personally, i would not run 4 dogs together, 2 being the most. But, thats their way, each to their own. Frank. Quote Link to post
