I can see where some people are coming from about running four dogs ect,but you have to hand it to the arabs when it comes to salukis, their masters of their breed of running dog producing some smashing dogs on the back of thousand of years of selective breeding and proberly using the same schooling of their dogs passed down through generations, how many out there would turn their noses up at having the chance to own a arab bred saluki :hmm::D

Fair comment gaz. :)

After all, they have been moulding the Saluki, for thousands of years. :D

Its the way they do it and id say they were training pups too. ;)

Personally, i would not run 4 dogs together, 2 being the most.

But, thats their way, each to their own. :victory:

ive ran hares on the desert and forget single or doubled some days the hares get up far away or explode and only the best dog catches, no pup does until maybe half way through its first season ive lamped pups at night and they get blooded but only strong dogs can take elusive jack rabbits born through expierence not hear say , saw many dogs from over the states catch nothing on good strong jack rabbits ,you need a dog with greyhound speed saluki feet stamina and size to keep in sight between cactus and bushes and grass ditches etc best dogs ive saw were 26 and were bred of good jackrabbit killers, saw afew gen of jack rabbit killers saluk and cunningham greyhounds that the texas oil well guys bred, along the pan handle down to san antonia
