oman 23
Hi all just looking to know what is the law when shooting deer in northern Ireland. Do you need any qualifications to shoot deer in NI. If the deer are on land that you have permission to shoot can you legally shoot them if you have a suitable calibre. Many thanks. Quote Link to post
remi700 99
Stags and bucks 1st August - 30th April Hinds and does 1st November- 28th February If your living in Northern Ireland and have to get a rifle to shoot deer (.243 or larger) you will have to do the dsc course. If you have a deer licence in the south you may be able to get a visitors licence if you have someone to sponsor you land and a couple of referees. Atb Mark Quote Link to post
