New FAC air Daystate but which glass ?

Recommended Posts

Well I have ordered my FAC air rifle and being honest I think this company for me was only ever going to be the one !

DAYSTATE . . . . . Of cause !

And this is what am having ! http://www.daystate....atalogue-10.pdf

THE HUNTSMAN XL

Am choosing my wood next Friday and all being well collecting th following Monday just in time for my birthday !

She will be in .22 and running at 30fpe!

My pellets to test her with are :

.22 Pellets for test:

H&N Baracuda Hunter (Domed/HP) 18.21Grn

H&N Baracuda Hunter Extream (Domed/HP/ X) 19.09Grn -

H&N Field Target Trophy 14.66Grn

Crosman PowaPel(pointed) 14.3Grn

AA Diablo Field (Domed) 16Grn

Bisley Magnums (Domed) 21.4Grn

And of cause anything at Daystate that I see and fancy testing with

All this paid for from my compo money fom last springs car accident!

I was considering putting a Falcon 4-14x44 First Focal Plane EMD scope on her:

http://www.falconopt...FPEMDMaster.pdf

A Staffordshire rifle and scope !

How ever am not 100% sure on the scope yet as I want mil dot and variable mag over 10x but am not sure what othe scope to consider !

I have in mind the MTC connect AMD and Hawk but I don't know the Hawk range so well and I don't know what there quality is like !

So any recommendations for a mil dot scope that's vari mag over 10x and ir would be good ! Budget £200ish but under is always better !

Any thoughts on the HAWKE range, such as: The Sport HD 4-12x50 IR Rifle Scope:

And a MK5 carbon fibre silencer on her as well as the standard over barrel silencer to keep her quiet !

Cheers

Matt

I plan for this to be my main hunting rifle and hope the H&N pellets are the preferred diet as there quality is great and should sort out rabbit and corvids very well
