hmm, things that dont make any difference to accuracy..or what they say dont.

i'll put a 1 and a -1 to each and add it up at the end, the two '1's means diddly squot to maths fobia peeps other than a good or a bad

 

scope height.. of course it makes no odds.. it does to the zero.. so a -1 to not worrying about.

 

scope angle..ass in shimming.. erghhhh a slight yes so -1/2 to not doing, slight..(the glass angle makes a difference, as in look through a magnifying glass and move around.. oo, the image moves and oooo and it changes.)

 

dont need a parralex.. or the old factry st 100 yard paralex.. ermm, its ok if your old school and dont need it, i.e. you can machine shoot to perfection lol.. -1

 

any old zero.. well, not that important really, but, you can over do it, e.g. a 5 inch hi scope zero's for ten yards..ffff will work, eventually when you subconsously adapt and start to machine shoot.... -1

 

damaged pellets, i'll give that a -2.. theres only one pellet it's not made a diference to and that AA feilds...

 

weighing pellets..hmmmm 30 yards nehhh, 25 yards? nehhh hit it with tumbling pellets at that range lol, so yeh does help at range, didnt worry about it? -1

 

lubing pellets? hmmmm, arghhh, its a dificult one, i dont bother, but i've had a definate improvement on one pellet and actualy had worse results on another.. an indifferent 0

 

what else?

 

ahh yes the untimate doesnt matters..

 

stock? doesnt need to fit you? well.. no it doesnt 'need to' but.. ffff a minous here, -3 if yu didnt bother.

 

barrel? long/short? do you want range? -3 if you didnt bother.

 

now then, eye releif posision and distance...ermmmmm take um head for poo if you didnt worry about that one -5!

 

a tune up.. -2

 

barrel pellet matching?.....ffff yeahhh -4 on that doody.

 

silencer or spanky vento effert? the silencer lessons accuraccy a smidgion, some less than others, so a iffy -1/2 (yes changes a poi..) the spanky vents on the end, eeeesh noisey feckin things lol..duno dont care lol

 

sooo the score so far?

now then, its only a figurative figure here... at -25 you can hit all day and all night long... at 30 yards say.. it is posable. at 75 yards? forget it.

 

 

in reality your eye relief usuals works out so you'll put your head in the right place, the better its pososioned the better you'll shoot..(make that a plus +3 for bothering)

 

the stock legnth? well.. i've never had a perfect fit, not of my own, it's not a 'vtal' ish...but its a definate plus.(erghh..+1/2..+1 a deffo plus)

 

see how the -25 starts to come down, or towards a posative?

 

 

its isnt just one issue........its adding up them little diferences to your budget and relistic distances.(and time in..).

 

 

worry about it?

 

NOPE.......if you cant have it why worry, practice more, taint a 9 till 5 go home job is it?.........the hole game is to get you to paranoid yourself and talk yourself out of what you can do, and, with any luck, make you pay on the way lol..twats!

 

develope the 'instinct', and anything else is a bigger plus.
