Made by AEG so its a good make

Looking closely, it's primary use is for AirSoft users with 2 weight BB's

However it states that it will measure up to -Muzzle velocity: 15-800 meters/second(MPS) / 50-2600 feet/second(FPS)

So in FPS/MPS mode you would have to do the math to convert to ft/lbs.

I've not had my hands on one, so can't answer for accuracy or robustness. It has a fairly long, enclosed tube by the look of things, so you'd need to be very careful with the alignment. The BB's might bounce off, but an air rifle pellet at 11.5 ft.lb certainly won't.

For £40, I guess you pays your money and takes your chance. I'd definitely want to check accuracy against a calibrated chrono before trusting it.

I was going to say look at the Combro chronographs, but have just looked them up and they are selling for £70! When I bought mine it was only about £20!
