NEHunter 14
Afternoon, Been thinking for a while that I would like a little bushing dog to walk with the lurcher, turn the walks into a mooch seen as I have pleanty of ground to walk over. Trouble is I have little experience of terrier/ spaniel/ beagle ownership. My partner has two Jack Russells who live in the house and alth Quote Link to post
*The*Field*Marshall* 674
For me, having a lurcher without a terrier is like having Batman without Robin! Generally, yes, they are harder work than their leggier counter part, but for me, worth the effort if you have the time and room. All the best Quote Link to post
Gaz_1989 9,539
I've got a terrier now and honestly when she's gone she won't be replaced. Don't know my lurchers there but this thing is a pain in the arse. Typical terrier really. Crazy mental little thing. She's coming 5 and no signs of calming down. She barks at the slightest thing, always causes trouble first when we are out etc. However I don't get that much use out of her as don't mooch that much nowadays, it's all lamping. If I was out every day or even 4/5 times a week really mooching for miles over all terrain then I wouldn't be without one and would happily have the hassle of owning own for the benefit of a good busher.
