Having to get rid of dogs...

Now I have a pup which is 8 1/2 month and I don't like her , she isn't gonna be the dog I want

 

 

 

 

its a pup, 8 and a half month and you dont like her,so your getting rid of her. she is still learning, so why rehome her

Why keep a dog you don't like? All you'll end up doing is leaving that dog in the kennel and working one of the others instead , she won't get to see the quarry and will end up being ruined ... It's called kennel management and I know the bitch will turn out a better dog if someone else had her and used her for what she was bred for which is foxes (NI) where I prefer to hunt edible game

 

ok, was just wondering the reason, i to prefer edible game, as i said in my earlier post everyones circumstances are different. it is worth noting though i took on a dog that was 8 month old due to it not doing the job right as i was told, and he has turned out not to bad at all, im sure those on here (THL) that have been out with me, would agree that my dog does the buisness big time. So much so the previous owner wanted him back after he seeing the difference of another 8 months work with the pup. To which he was duely told where to go. But good luck to you i hope you find her a good home

 

 

chid, i dont know you, but i know Davie (djs). have been out with him several times. I can vouch for him with his little "pocket rocket" charlie. You would not beleive its the same dog. For such a little dog its a flying machine, and ever so keen. When he first got it it appeared to have no heart , it did not seem in the slightest bit interested, now it turns somersaults to run its quarry down.

 

not long to go now davie, and i can assure you, hope your keeping them fit for this season, i intend winning all bets lol

 

haha, trust me dogs will be fit and ready to give your 2 a good run for there money. And my wee pocket rocket as you put it lol, im betting will take more than any of yours on the hill this time round. see ya soon bud

I personaly would not give a dog away as my dogs are pets aswell as workers. Just have a strong bond with mine and wouldnt like to see them on the other end of someone elses lead.

However if tge dog was a worker and not a pet aswell and it was getting to old i would give the dog to a pet home but would ask famalie and friend if they would take the dog before finding someone esle sutible to take the dog on.
