hi T.H.L. im wondering wether any of the community can tell me where my pup "originally" comes from heres the pup=

i bought the pup salukixgrey (although i can see whippet in it sometimes!) 2 weekks ago @11 wk old from a dog breeder/trainer in carlisle, the woman breeds small toy dogs originally and got my pup and a black lakey or patt bitch 2 yrs oldish off a friend of hers who had given up his stock due to either work commitments or moving south, she also said he had other dogs but she'd only recieved 2, i know these dogs have come from a working home as the black terrier bitch had a rip in her ear so im jus wondering if any of the community know someone up the carlisle/ cumbria north areas whos recently given up the game/dogs , and could possibly tell me some history/ breeding etc about my pup, hopefully its a small world out there, thanks community
