moxy 617
When you get there you will find out and better know what to expect the Next time!! Or better still, leave your gun at home and reccy. Nobody on here can tell you, just as i cant tell you to zero your rifle in at 28 yds!? As for the peanut butter, save your £1.37 or 69p for the best buy stuff, it wont do anything for you. Its no magic lure. The rats already know what they are on with and wont give your sun pat a second glance Quote Link to post
moxy 617
Forgot to add, a red filter and a dimmer on your lamp would be handy Quote Link to post
Probuk 93
Sound's good fella..but i prefer bacon sarnie's on my shooting trips Id say zero at a short range.. 15/20y most rat shooting is done at close range. Hope you have fun fella Good luck Edited May 1, 2012 by Probuk Quote Link to post
shropshire-lad 9
Thanks for all your help what time is it best to go shooting for the rats.I can let you know how i get on. I have to go down this week to meet the man and go from there. The only thing he wont is some rabbits when ferreting starts back up. I have no dimmer on the lamp i will have to go and buy a red filter or make one. Thanks Quote Link to post
Probuk 93
About an hour after it gets dark is a good start Quote Link to post
