2 jills same nest

i was given 2 jills, i knew that 1 was in kit i put them in the same pen last night as i am putting a new pen up today, i went there thismorning to find about 25 kits, what should i do leave both jills in with them or take 1 out, or put half the kits in with 1 and the other half in with another?

help please

ive had this same thing happen but it was in a big aviary i just left them too it all kits were fine but it was a big area ive also breed rabbits in this way and gini pigs even leaving the males in

Leave them to sort themselves out. 25 is a big number to rehome, let nature take its course.

that is a big litter i have kept mine in the same hutch and they looked after each others just fine.good luck pal your gonna have your hands full. :thumbs-up:

25 kits is far to many for 1 jill to look after so i would take the chance and half them all the best with them kennel-maid

Mine all stay in together. Funny thing is, one jill never feeds her own kits, the other jill suckles them even before she has delivered her own
