Steveolkinevel 0
Hey everyone, new to the site but not new to hunting, been shooting for 17 years and hunting about that too, started off with firearms 1st then moved to airguns later, seems an odd way about it but its a harder task hunting with a air rifle imo, Any way i started off with a .22 hw35 which was great but ive ended up with a AAs410 .177 which i find superior caliber to the 22 my preference as i look after a very large golf course and need that 15+ extra meter range. Dont think ad go back to 22 unless it was for a ratter! Steve Quote Link to post
Probuk 93
I always used .22 but when i got into HFT i got myself a HW100kt .177.. then i bought another HW100kt .177 and in January i bought ANOTHER HW100k Sporter .177 I prefer 177 cal for long range hunting and HFT,the pellet will travel through a rabbits skull at 50 yard's no problem, the 177 pellet is also less effected by windy condition's. For stopping power buy a 12gauge 3" magnum that will stop them DEAD All the best in your quest but... at the end of the day any cal should give you many happy hours of fun Atb Marty Quote Link to post
