Woodworm1972 24
After sifting through rifle after rifle and not wanting to lad to own a pistol, we've sort of settled on the crosman rat catcher! Not the best gun I know but weight wise and usability it fits him. The issue is that the gun comes with a terrible 4x scope! Knowing he will be target shooting only I want him to have a higher Mag but without loosing the benefits of a lightweight gun.. Does anyone have any scope suggestions?? Chris Quote Link to post

Phantom 631
I would second that Frank Chris, I was using the Hawke 4-12x50 last night, If I'd have thought you could have had a looksee through it before the rain started! Really are superb scopes for the money. Tony Quote Link to post

matt_hooks 188
The ratty is good for targets out to maybe 30 yards max. A decent 4x mag scope will mean he can see the target, but will not amplify any shake. People always think higher mag scopes, and variable mag, are better. Actually spending the same money on a decent fixed mag scope is probably better value for money. Quote Link to post
